A leading construction services group in Norway is building a new cloud-based SaaS division focused on developing a modern platform for construction management. Backed by a well-established parent company, this new initiative combines the energy of a startup with the stability of an enterprise. We’re assembling a talented development team in Oslo and are now hiring an experienced Backend Developer to help design and deliver the platform’s core systems and APIs.

Must Haves:

5+ years of experience in backend development

Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java

Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design

Experience developing scalable, production-grade APIs

Comfortable with event-driven architectures, ideally using Kafka

Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)

Fluent in Norwegian and able to work in English

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Haves:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Background in the construction or logistics domain

Familiarity with microservices architecture

Experience working in hybrid teams

Interest in helping shape a product from the ground up
