Must Haves:

5+ years of backend development experience

Strong knowledge of Java (or similar languages)

Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Proven ability to write efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code

Strong code review practices and openness to feedback

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Proactive, curious mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Team-oriented, collaborative approach and ability to share knowledge

Nice to Haves:

Familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS services, and CI/CD pipelines

Background in designing and implementing APIs

Exposure to microservice architecture and migration from monolithic systems

Knowledge of monitoring and performance tracking tools

Hands-on experience writing tests at multiple levels

Participation in hackathons, conferences, or open-source contributions

Interest in experimenting, iterating, and improving workflows
